Privacy Policy

Plain English, no fooling. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what your rights are. Last updated: 19 July 2026.

Who we are

NoFooly ("we", "us") is operated by Wayne Conyers, based in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the personal information described on this page. Contact us any time at hello@nofooly.com.

What we collect

We collect the minimum we need to run the service:

  • Waitlist & contact — your email address when you join the waitlist or email us.
  • Account details — name, email and business details you provide when you use the NoFooly app.
  • Content you create — messages, tasks, job posts and other material you put into the service so the service can do its job.
  • Technical basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser type) used for security and keeping the lights on. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out of our forms.

Public-records research

Some of our internal tools look up information from public registers — for example the Companies House public register — to research businesses and qualify leads. This is information those registers already publish. We use it for business intelligence, we do not resell or republish it in bulk, and we honour the source registers' terms of use.

What we do with it

  • Provide and improve the service you asked for.
  • Reply when you contact us.
  • Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
  • We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

Where it lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database and authentication) and Cloudflare (hosting and security) — under their respective security and data-processing terms. Access is restricted and protected by row-level security.

Cookies & local storage

We keep it light: a local preference for light/dark theme, session tokens needed to keep you signed in, and Cloudflare's bot-protection. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails until launch or until you ask to be removed. Account data for as long as you have an account. Server logs are short-lived and rotate automatically.

Young people

NoFooly is not for under-16s and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are 16 or 17 you may use the CV creation and job-hunting tools only, with a parent or guardian's approval. If we learn we hold data on someone under 16 we will delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@nofooly.com and we will act on it promptly. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Big changes get flagged clearly, not buried.
